Please Note that for the Refund: 

a) 25% cancellation fees + Processing fees if cancelled before Wednesday 15th May 2024

b) 50% cancellation fees + Processing fee if cancelled after Wednesday 15th May and before Friday 31st May 2024

c) No refunds after 31st May 2024

ASAA Members late registration in person: $520.00 (full conference)

Non-member late in person: $620.00 (full conference)

ASAA member Concessions late registration (student/retiree/academic casual contract*): $280.00 (full conference)

Non-Member Concession late registration (student/retiree/academic casual contract*): $350.00 (full conference)

Single Day (ASAA members): $150.00

Single Day Concession rate (ASAA members): $120

Single Day (non-ASAA members): $200.00

Single Day Concession rate (non-ASAA members): $150

For student participants, the registration fee includes the pre-conference postgraduate student day. The postgraduate student day is for students only.

*For student / casual, a ‘casual academic’ is defined as anyone who works on a casual basis in precarious employment at a university, and without a permanent source of income. 

Online only registration early (no member rates, flat fee): $120.00

Online only registration late (no member rates, flat fee): $200.00

Optional costs:

Conference Dinner: $100.00 (registration for the Conference Dinner is compulsory)

Welcome reception: $50.00 


IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION REGARDING AUSTRALIAN VISAS

Letter to Support Travel Visa Applications Request

If you require a letter of invitation to support your visa application for Australia, please contact Shu Zhu (shu [dot] zhu [at] curtin [dot] edu [dot] au and provide the required information and your acceptance letter will be emailed to you. Please ensure that you travel on a correct visa. It is the responsibility of each presented to apply for the correct travel visa to Australia well ahead of the conference. Please make sure to consult the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs website to find out which visa you require. Their website can be accessed here: Explore visa options (homeaffairs.gov.au) . Unfortunately we are unable to provide any immigration or travel advice with regards to which visa you should apply for. If in doubt, please consult the Home Affairs website and contact details provided by the Australian Government for accurate advice and guidance.  We recommend that you apply for the relevant visa early. 

We cannot provide refunds in the case where registrations have been confirmed and closed, and no travel visa was applied for resulting in last minute cancellation of travel.
